When mobile I use a Yaesu FT-857D and Little Tarheel II antenna.
The antenna is mounted on the rear door of the truck (Ford F150 Ext. Cab)

The Yaesu FT-857D is mounted in the center console with a fan installed to circulate air. A switch is installed in the top of the console for switching the fan off/on.

The head unit is mounted to the dash board just above the car stereo.
