My HF Pack

I have managed to put together a nice small portable setup to operate on the go.

My portable station consist of a Yaesu FT-817ND, P1 portable vertical antenna, camera tripod (for mounting P1) and a Dinkey for CW operation. Everything fits into a small daypack with room left  for any water or food I wish to carry.  Great for a day trip!  

I am currently building a reel dipole for times when I have trees and space to hang one. The P1 works pretty good for a small vertical and 2.5 watts into it.
